Technical Sales Engineer
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will support customers worldwide at implementing saw blades and solving application specific challenges.
Your main responsibilities will be support end-users at using Kinkelder’s circular saw blades on site with Kinkelder sales team or via our distributors. In your role you will participate in R&D projects by using field experience and testing prototype saw blades, and contribute to new ideas and innovations.
With the challenges, experience and needs at end-users your will propose new possibilities and directions for Kinkelder development of saws. You’ll be training our sales team, sales team of distributors on properties, particulars and selection of Kinkelder saw blades. Furthermore, you’ll train operators for proper use of saws blades in production lines.
After an extensive training at Kinkelder and visiting end-users with experienced Field Service Engineers, you will be the linking pin between the area sales managers, export managers, business developers, inside sales office, distributors and saw equipment manufactures for technical issues.You’ll own and exceed your technology knowledge and solution capability. You understand the needs of your customers and market and are able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
You develop into a good understanding of our businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them. You are able to discuss and explain the product features and discuss strategy with the product managers and marketing.
What to expect
You’ll work partly in an office environment, saw workshop and R&D but will frequently travel up to 60% of your time, for frequent face-to-face meetings with our customers, distributors and other business partners. You utilize your interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with operators, plant managers and distributors. As Technical Sales Engineer you plan and execute saw tests and introductions at customers.The ability to speak a foreign language beside English is an asset.

- Technical education
- At least 3 years of experience in sales and/or service oriented job
- Problem solving, analytics, good communication and staying calm are important skills
- Fluent in English and preferable one additional language
- Willing to travel up to 60% of the year world wide

If you start working at Kinkelder BV, you will receive a so called starting bonus of € 1,000: €250 after your trial period and €750 after your first contract is renewed.
